What is Caustic soda:

Caustic soda (also known as sodium hydroxide, lye or NaOH) is a white, pearly solid product with the formula “NaOH”. It is a highly caustic and alkaline product and if it comes into contact with skin it can cause severe burns. It is a versatile product that can be found in a variety of processes.

Chemical properties of caustic soda:
