The facility chooses a pump for RO 8040 membrane for your filtration system

1. For low pressure RO 8040 membrane: design flux is from 1000 L/H to 1500L/H depending on input water quality and your treatment system design. For example, if the recovery rate is 50%, the amount of feed water supplied is 2000L/H to 3000L/H. Operating pressure ranges from 5bar to 10bar
2. For high pressure RO 8040 membrane: design flux is from 1000 L/H to 1500L/H depending on input water quality and your treatment system design. For example, if the recovery rate is 50%, the amount of feed water supplied is 2000L/H to 3000L/H. Operating pressure ranges from 8bar to 15bar

Introduction to CNP multistage vertical pump

Multistage vertical pumps are designed with multiple impellers mounted on a common shaft. Each impeller includes curved blades that accelerate the fluid and increase its pressure. The number of impellers can be varied depending on the desired pressure requirement. The propellers are installed in series, one after another, on a single shaft driven by a motor located above.

These graphs show that for any given size pump, if the number of impellers increases, the available pressure also increases. Also, note that as flow is reduced, more pressure is available for the same number of impellers, or in other words as flow is increased, available pressure is reduced. That’s why it’s important to choose a pump that can handle maximum flow at the required pressure.
