The 6″ flange is an important part to install the filter distributor to connect to the mouth of the 6″ filter tank. The inside surface has threads to install the filter distributor, the outside surface has holes to attach bolts to the mouth of the tank. The top of the flange has a 3inch internal thread (fi90mm) suitable for installing fi90mm external thread heads.
